We don’t believe in hidden costs or small print clauses. We like to keep things simple and honest. With Pacific Horizon there is:
- NO money taken from your credit card for insurance excess/bond. We take an imprint only.
- NO extra cost for windscreen and tyre cover. This comes as standard in our insurance policies.
- NO extra cost for insurance that covers the top and bottom of the vehicle. You get this as standard.
- NO credit card fees
- NO charge for road diesel tax
- NO charge for extra drivers
- NO charge for transfers to and from airports/ferries/hotels
- NO one way fees (subject to duration/hire date restrictions)
With Client Service Centres in Auckland, Wellington, Picton and Christchurch, we provide a range of pick up and drop off locations not matched by other companies. Our friendly and professional staff embody that great Kiwi spirit and we always go that little bit extra to make sure you get the service you deserve.

Pacific Horizon is Qualmark endorsed. This means that we have been independently assessed against a set of national quality standards that have been developed with you, the traveller, in mind. The standard identifies professional and trustworthy business allowing you to book and buy with confidence.
Free Transfers
Free transfers are available from CBD, airports, train stations and ferry terminals. We do not offer pick up from private residential addresses. Please contact us for more information or to arrange your courtesy transfer
On Road Care
We operate a free phone service that is available 24 hours, 365 days a year. It is operated by our own people who have exceptional knowledge of our campervans, so there are few questions/problems that will mean you will be off the road for long.
No Charge for One-Way Hires (Subject to duration/hire date restrictions)
Providing your hire meets the selection criteria, there is no charge for one-way hires. As we have locations in Auckland, Wellington, Picton and Christchurch we can offer greater flexibility than other companies and allow you to plan the journey you want.
Our Fleet
Our fleet is made in NZ from and delivered new to Pacific Horizon Motorhomes. We take pride in one of the largest fleets in NZ whilst still preserving personal and friendly service.
Opening Hours:
All Client Service Centres are open everyday from 0800 - 1700 except on Christmas Day (25 Dec)
Pick ups & drop offs must commence by 4.30pm

Ferry Bookings
Ferry Bookings are all part of the service and should you need a reservation (we recommend booking in advance) contact our team with details of your travel plans and they can book a passage for you.
